Np Review course review is quite complex. There are two certifying bodies the AANP and the ANCC. Most students chose one and study for that exam. Some students pay for both exams and

Berkley

My school required that we took Berkeley in our last semester. It was very informative however it was a lot of information and content. Great for starting practice but too broad at times in my opinion. The teaching style was a bit bland for me but overall good content.

Fitzgerald
Definitely has been around for a few years and is one of the original nurse practitioners. She is very thorough in her teaching and she definitely will help you break down information and questions in the way the exam wants you to think. Her course is very long and you can not fast forward her video which was not ideal especially if you wanted to listen to a section multiple times.

Apea ( Amelie Hollier)
Her teaching style showed passion and enthusiasm and she has a way of giving you examples that will make them stick. I love her Cardiac Lectures definitely pulled it all together. I will always think of donuts when looking at a patient’s CBC now. She is funny and gives you great mnemonics. She also has a predictor test that was very useful in my studies. For 33 bucks you got a prediction test and although you can not review the questions you are able to review the topics you got wrong. I definitely used her 800+test bank questions over and over again.

Sarah Michelle
Honestly coming out of school I never heard of her until she started her podcast. And in her podcast, she has lots of tips for anxiety and test-taking. I bought one course which was a heavy pharmacology course which was very informative. As I struggle with pharmacology and her taking it two years before sitting on the boards. However, I quickly found out that I was not prepared enough. Then I decided to take her course her full course Five weeks of intensive review. I have to say Sarah Michelle and her team were very helpful and instrumental in helping me pass the boards. Her teaching style was to the point and informative and she also gave lots of study tips and mnemonics that stick. I will always remember if you are dog bitten give Augmentin! In the intensive course, we met multiple times a week for live zoom calls games, and study sessions. She also has instructors that evaluate your readiness to test. I must say I do love the way she broke down the study calendar and review course giving you just enough just to learn but not too much to overwhelm you. Her course ranges from $100-$700 plus however well worth the investment if you need somebody to break it down and pull it all together.

Latrine Walden

This review course was also instrumental in putting the bow on the package. I took material Waldens bronze crash course as well as her life two-day review course. Both courses are filled with what you know. So if you’ve been studying for weeks and feel like you need something to wrap it up and put it all together this is the course for you. In her Intensive live review, she goes over the highlights and what you should look for in the exam. Her famous buzzwords allow you to look for things and teach you the way the exam words different things.

Leik

Coming out of school and seeing lots of review videos and blogs and forums Maria leak is definitely highly rated. I bought the book I read through the whole book twice. I also did her live review course online. I quickly found out that I needed something more than just reading. My learning style is auditory learning and writing. So reading her book was very informative and part of my fundamental knowledge at the beginning of my studying however, not being able to record her webinar and not having lectures, I definitely sought other avenues to increase my knowledge and the ability for it to stick in my brain.

There you go now it is up to you to choose your style.
