That's all from us
That's a wrap from us on this Wednesday evening of Championship football.
We'll be back on Friday night as we move into September, when West Brom host Burnley.
But before then, let's all cross our fingers for an exciting 24 hours of deadline day action tomorrow that we can all enjoy.
We hope you can join us next time!
Tonight's results recapped
We're done in all of this evening's matches and here's where we stand at full time:
- Blackpool 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
- Bristol City 2-0 Huddersfield Town
- Coventry City 0-1 Preston North End
- Stoke City 1-1 Swansea City
- Sunderland 3-0 Rotherham United
FULL-TIME
Blackpool 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
And that is it.
Ben Brereton Diaz ends Blackburn's run of three defeats with a stylish first-half strike.
The question is, will he still be a Blackburn player by the close of play tomorrow or will that goal be his parting gift to Rovers before departing on deadline day?
Post update
Blackpool 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
We're deep into five minutes of added time at Bloomfield Road and the home side are not giving up.
Ben Brereton Diaz is penalised for a foul on Theo Corbeanu right on the edge of the box. Hayden Carter pulls it back to Corbeanu rather than whipping it in to the box though and the chance comes to nothing.
Kenny Dougall then sees a shot go wide right at the death. Surely that has to be it.
CLOSE!
Blackpool 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
The traffic is all going Blackpool's way at the moment as we approach the end of the 90 minutes.
The hosts win a corner and Rhys Williams gets his head onto it as it flies into the box, it just narrowly floats over the bar.
Close, but not close enough, which sums up Blackpool's evening so far.
Post update
Blackpool 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
Another scuffle inside the box as Hayden Carter drags Jerry Yates to the floor by his shirt. Not sure if the officials saw it, but they waved a penalty call anyway.
Blackburn might have had a big let-off there.
Post update
Blackpool 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
Jerry Yates has a golden chance to get his side level as Dom Thompson picks him out on his own in the box.
Yates turns and has the time to pick his spot, but his shot doesn't quite have the fire power behind it and it's saved by Thomas Kaminski.
FULL-TIME
Sunderland 3-0 Rotherham

The perfect start to Tony Mowbray's reign as Sunderland manager.
Jack Clarke and Ross Stewart combined for the opening two goals.
Clarke then danced his way through on his own to add the coup de grace.
A third win of the season for the Black Cats.
Rotherham suffer their first defeat of the campaign.
FULL-TIME
Coventry City 0-1 Preston North End
Preston continue their remarkable run of not having conceded a goal all season, as they beat Coventry in the Sky Blues' first match at home.
Substitute Emil Riis Jakobsen's goal is the only difference between the sides and boosts Preston's goal tally to two goals after seven games.

FULL-TIME
Bristol City 2-0 Huddersfield Town
Bristol City extend their unbeaten run in the league to five matches.
Nahki Wells' first half header gave the team the lead before substitute Antoine sem*nyo's thundering strike added the extra 10 minutes from time.
That's Bristol City's third clean sheet of the season.
FULL-TIME
Stoke 1-1 Swansea
For a long while it looked like Alex Neil was heading to defeat in his first game in charge of Stoke.
But his players found something with the clock ticking down, managed to apply some pressure and Swansea cracked.
Tyrese Campbell earns a point for the hosts after Joel Piroe had given Swansea a very early lead.
The Swans will regret not making the most of their first-half pressure.
Post update
Bristol City 2-0 Huddersfield Town
The hosts almost have a third as we approach the end of the 90 minutes.
This time, Lee Nicholls is there to deny Rob Atkinson's header from close range from going in.
GOAL: Stoke 1-1 Swansea
Tyrese Campbell (90 mins)
And they have the equaliser!
A high hanging cross from the right isn't dealt with by the Swansea defence.
Aden Flint got up to meet it, headed back across goal and Tyrese Campbell was first to it to finish with his right boot.
Relief for Alex Neil and Stoke.
Post update
Blackpool 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
Jake Vale goes down in the box and the Blackburn players and fans are adamant it should be a penalty. The referee waves it away though and instead books Vale for diving.
CLOSE!
Stoke 0-1 Swansea
Stoke are now giving it a go for their new manager.
Will Smallbone gets to the dead-ball line and clips in an inviting cross.
Tyrese Campbell is there but heads wide!
Post update
Stoke 0-1 Swansea
Time ticking away for Stoke to find something from Alex Neil's first game in charge.
Liam Delap has forced a late clearance from Matt Grimes but otherwise nothing for the hosts in this second half.
GOAL: Bristol City 2-0 Huddersfield Town
Antoine sem*nyo (80 mins)
Huddersfield hit the post and should have had an equaliser yet remarkably it's Bristol City who have extended their advantage to 2-0.
On the counter attack, with Huddersfield still wondering how they didn't score, a long ball picks out Antoine sem*nyo.
He switches from his left to his right, on the corner of the 18 yard box and fires a shot that Lee Nicholls had no chance with, inside the near post.
That's his third goal in three games in a week as a substitute.
HITS THE WOODWORK
Coventry City 0-1 Preston North End
This match has suddenly gone end to end.
No sooner have Preston taken the lead, Jake Bidwell's header rattles the crossbar for Coventry.
Now Preston have got their crucial goal, can they hang on for that crucial clean sheet?
GOAL: Sunderland 3-0 Rotherham
Jack Clarke (70 mins)
And now it's game over.
A glorious goal from Jack Clarke.
He weaves in from the right, snakes past three defenders before a low, right-foot finish.

GOAL: Coventry City 0-1 Preston North End
Emil Riis Jakobsen (73 mins)
Huge news, Preston have scored, we repeat, Preston have scored!
Emil Riis Jakobsen has only been on the pitch for a few minutes but he calmly puts the ball past Ben Wilson into the bottom corner after it gets deflected right into his feet in the box.
That's their second goal of the season and they're still yet to concede!
